Kwanzaa In Harrisburg

 The 24 Hour Team was on the road again to Harrisburg. Neal the Wonder Dog is guarding our trunks as I check into the hotel. There were some rather viscous children set on swiping our trunks. Neal distracted them by letting them pet him. Our equipment safely made it to the event thanks to the ever vigilant Neal the Wonder Dog.

        We did manage to get in some juggling class with some people from Philadelphia. We made contact with the IBM Ring in Mechanicsburg. It looks as if we are going to join them for the January Meeting with some of the new folks from Keystone Clown Brigade. 

     Self Esteem Ministries kindly invited us to celebrate Kwanzaa with them and recruit some new folks for the Clown Brigade. 

       Neal is guarding our table while I set up for the event. Look at his vigilant for anyone that wants to pet him or might have some spare bacon. 

     I would also like to thank Rosetta McBride our Art Director for drawing the new mascot and shield for the new Brigade. 

 

 

The Shield for Brigade 3 had been sent off to the embroiders. There it is in all it blue and goldenrod goodness. 

 

New Old Trunk

Making a trunk for the Order. We are taking the old trunk 5 from the Steel City Clown Brigade and painting it in the Order's colors. In the foreground is the new trunk 5 for the Steel City Clown Brigade. 

Trunk 5 was badly damaged at the World Clown Convention. It was on the back burner to rebuild it. With the start of the 24 Hour Team they should have at lease one trunk. 

 

24 Hour Team

 We are going to form a team that will set up new brigades. This is the patch for the team. 

It is named after the circus team that went ahead and did the PR for the group. 

Our first stop will be Juneteenth in Harrisburg for the start of the Keystone Clown Brigade.

Recruiting for the Old Line Clown Brigade

Herman and I went down to the Congress of Jugglers to recruit members for the Old Line Clown Brigade. He we are waiting for people to sigh up for the group. 

You can see the lovely new red shield of our second brigade of the Order. It has a Bourbary Cross and everything.
